Shamba Weather Bot

Sensors that tell a school garden exactly when it's thirsty.

Built with Arduino ยท C++ ยท by a TechWave member

๐Ÿ“– The story

A temperature and humidity sensor connected to an Arduino watches over the school's vegetable garden, lighting a red LED when the soil is getting dry.

๐Ÿ’ก What they learned

Real-world sensors are noisy! Smoothing out jumpy readings so the light didn't flicker constantly was a lesson in patience and debugging.
